Clien, your journey into the fashion world is inspiring. Can you share some of the pivotal moments that shaped your career as a model and content creator?
My fashion journey began with a deep desire to express aspects of myself that words couldn’t capture, such as confidence, mystery, and self-assured femininity. Some pivotal moments in my journey include transforming my most-followed Instagram account into a modelling portfolio and gaining recognition for my distinctive style.
Every photoshoot, every post, and every risk I’ve taken has brought me closer to understanding my creative identity. What started as a hobby has evolved into a pathway for self-discovery and a career I am truly passionate about.
Redefining Beauty
You’ve been recognised for redefining beauty standards. What does beauty mean to you, and how do you think it has evolved in the fashion industry?
To me, beauty is less about symmetry or perfection and more about presence—how you own your space, your story, and your truth. The fashion industry has evolved, embracing more diversity and individuality. I love that there is now greater room for unconventional beauty, authenticity, and voices that challenge the norm.
Visual Aesthetic
Your content is known for its bold and mysterious visual style. How do you cultivate this aesthetic, and what influences your creative process?
I am very intentional about the moods I create, utilising bold lighting, confident poses, and a slightly mysterious vibe. My aesthetic is influenced by both vintage and modern editorials, as well as cinematic stills.

You have a strong passion for visual storytelling. Can you describe how you weave narratives into your fashion content and what messages you hope to convey?
Fashion has always been a visual language for me. I use it to convey stories about inner power, duality, and transformation. Whether I opt for a sleek, minimalist look or something more experimental, my goal is to evoke a specific energy. I want to demonstrate that fashion can be more than just clothing; it can serve as a form of emotional expression and self-empowerment.

Fashion should reflect your true self, rather than simply following trends. I frequently share styles and mood boards with my audience to demonstrate that you don’t have to conform to a specific mould to be stylish. To me, digital independence means creating a brand that is authentic to you, without being solely influenced by algorithms or the need for approval.

Platforms like Instagram have transformed the fashion landscape. How do you navigate these platforms to maintain authenticity while growing your brand?
Instagram has become a powerful tool for gaining visibility and exercising creative control. However, remaining authentic is essential. I only share content when I have something genuine to convey, rather than posting to stay relevant. I strive to strike a balance between strategy and intuition. Growth is important, but it should not come at the expense of your voice or values.
Fashion Inspiration
You draw inspiration from classic editorial fashion, modern streetwear, and celestial themes. Can you elaborate on how these elements influence your style and content?
My style is a fusion of contrasts, featuring timeless editorial silhouettes and modern streetwear. I love referencing celestial elements, such as moons, metallics, and shadows, to add a spiritual or mythic layer to the visuals.
Challenges in the Industry
Every industry comes with its challenges. What are some obstacles you’ve faced in your modelling career, and how have you overcome them?
One of the biggest challenges has been being underestimated, especially as I carved my own path online without the support of traditional agencies or management. There is also pressure to adapt and perform to maintain constant engagement. I have learned to stand firm in my vision and to take breaks when necessary. Establishing boundaries and maintaining self-belief are essential.

Looking ahead, what are your goals for the future? Are there any specific projects or collaborations you’re excited about?
I am pursuing collaborations with fashion brands that align with my aesthetic and values. I aspire to model at Paris Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and London Fashion Week, with the ultimate goal of eventually transitioning into a career in creative direction. Additionally, I aim to create a digital platform that showcases other creators who are redefining beauty and storytelling.

What advice would you give to aspiring models and content creators who want to carve out their own niche in the fashion industry?
Begin by embracing what makes you unique: your background, your style, and your story. These are your strengths. Don’t wait for permission or for everything to be perfect. Stay curious, learn about the business side, and create a brand that feels authentic to you.
