Silvena Tsvetkova: A Passion for Beauty and Creativity
Beauty has always been an important part of Silvena’s world, not simply as an industry but as an art form. Her entrepreneurial journey led to the creation of PhiBrows by Silvena, her beauty venture, where attention to detail, precision, and the individual client experience are at the heart of what she does.
But her creative ambitions don’t stop there. Fashion, photography, styling and modelling have all become part of her growing portfolio of interests. She has a natural appreciation for aesthetics and the way personal style can communicate character and individuality.
The Camera
This translates particularly well in front of the camera. She has a calm, assured presence that draws people in without ever trying too hard. She holds the frame with ease, bringing a composed quality and a quietly magnetic appeal to her images.
Versatility is another of her strengths. Whether embracing an elegant, understated look or something more striking and fashion-led, she can carry different styles while making each feel entirely her own. This adaptability, alongside her natural ease in front of the lens, makes her an interesting personality to watch in the modelling and fashion space.
Building a Presence in Fashion and Digital Media
Social media has offered another platform to bring these interests together. What started as a way to share snippets of everyday life and personal style has gradually become a creative space of its own, opening doors to brand collaborations, campaigns, and connections with an audience beyond the UK.
For her, digital media is about more than simply sharing photographs. It offers an opportunity to explore visual storytelling, connect with brands and showcase different aspects of her personality. Fashion and beauty provide the creative direction, while modelling brings another dimension to her growing profile. As her interests continue to develop, she remains open to collaborations and opportunities that complement her personal style and creative outlook.
More Than Just a Pretty Picture
While the world of digital media often focuses on appearances, there’s more to her world than photographs and polished content. Behind the camera-ready moments is a woman balancing different roles, responsibilities and ambitions.
Motherhood, in particular, has brought a new dimension to her life, offering a different perspective on priorities, personal growth and what it means to build something meaningful. Motherhood and ambition aren’t competing interests. They are both part of who she is. She believes women shouldn’t have to put their dreams on hold or lose their sense of individuality simply because life takes on a new direction. This outlook feels particularly relevant today, as more women find their own ways to combine family life, entrepreneurship, and creative pursuits.
Individuality, Ambition and What’s Next for Silvena Tsvetkova
At the heart of Silvena’s journey is a belief in the freedom to evolve. Whether working within the beauty industry, exploring modelling opportunities, developing her online presence or enjoying fashion and creative expression, she remains open to what comes next. Her story reminds us that personal identity doesn’t have to be built around a single career, title, or expectation. It can be a combination of interests, experiences and ambitions that continue to change over time.
With her Bulgarian roots, UK lifestyle and varied creative interests, Silvena Tsvetkova is carving out her own space, bringing together beauty, business and a genuine appreciation for creative expression. Perhaps that’s what makes her journey interesting: she’s not trying to be just one thing. She’s enjoying the freedom to be many.
Interview
Silvena has a fascinating story to share, opening up to Networking Magazine about her journey, personal experiences and the different passions that shape her life.
Different Creative Interests
You’ve built a life that spans beauty, fashion, modelling and digital media. How did these different creative interests come together, and what first inspired you to pursue them?
I’ve never been someone who could define herself through just one passion. My journey has taken me through very different fields, and I think that’s what makes it interesting. I hold bachelor’s degrees in Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy and Computer Science—two completely different fields that have shaped how I think and approach challenges.
Despite my academic background, I’ve always had a strong passion for beauty, fashion and creativity. Over time, those interests developed into entrepreneurship, modelling and digital media. I believe education gives you knowledge, but curiosity keeps you evolving. I’ve never been afraid to explore a completely different direction or challenge myself with something new. For me, life isn’t about choosing one identity and staying within it. It’s about discovering what you’re capable of, even when the next chapter looks completely different from the previous one.
Entrepreneur
You founded PhiBrows by Silvena, turning your passion for beauty into a business. What has becoming an entrepreneur taught you about yourself and about building something of your own?
Entrepreneurship has taught me that passion alone isn’t enough. You need discipline, patience, resilience and the courage to believe in your own vision. After graduating in Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy, I worked at an aesthetic clinic in Bulgaria, where I spent nearly eight years building my experience in the industry. That’s where my passion for aesthetics truly developed, combining my understanding of the human body with my appreciation for beauty, precision, and attention to detail.
Later, building PhiBrows by Silvena allowed me to take that experience in a new direction and create something of my own. Beauty is an art, but it’s also about understanding people, paying attention to detail and helping someone feel confident. Most importantly, running my own business has taught me to trust myself, embrace challenges and understand that success is something you build through consistency, not something that happens overnight.
The Camera
You have a natural presence in front of the camera and an ability to adapt to very different looks. What do you enjoy most about modelling, and how do you bring your own personality to each project?
What fascinates me most about modelling is the ability to tell a story without saying a word. I love how fashion, styling, lighting and expression can completely transform the atmosphere of an image. One day you can embody timeless elegance, and the next something bold, dramatic and unexpected.
I’m particularly drawn to high-fashion editorial photography and campaigns that have a strong artistic concept. I enjoy being involved in the creative direction, not just standing in front of the camera. For me, modelling isn’t about looking perfect. It’s about presence, personality and emotion. I think the most beautiful images capture something authentic rather than simply following a trend.
The Brand
Social media has opened doors to collaborations and an international audience. How have you approached building your personal brand while staying true to who you are?
I’ve always believed a personal brand should be an extension of who you are, not a character you create for social media. My interests are quite diverse, from fashion and beauty to travel, entrepreneurship and motherhood, and I don’t want to restrict myself to just one category.
Through social media, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with different brands, attend industry events and develop my passion for creative storytelling. What I particularly enjoy is transforming a simple product into a visual concept that feels sophisticated and memorable. Social media is a very visual world, but I believe there’s a difference between creating beautiful content and creating something meaningful. For me, it’s about quality, creativity and building genuine connections. I want people to follow my journey because they’re interested in the person behind the photographs, not just the photographs themselves.
Influence
Originally from Bulgaria and now living in the UK, how have your background and experiences across different cultures influenced your outlook, ambitions and approach to business?
Moving abroad and building a life in another country has shaped my independence and determination. Being Bulgarian is an important part of my identity, but living in the UK and experiencing different cultures has broadened my perspective enormously.
I believe that adapting to new environments teaches you resilience, confidence and the ability to see opportunities beyond what feels familiar. I’m proud to have been selected as a finalist representing Bulgaria at Miss Europe Continental 2027. For me, it’s more than a modelling opportunity. It’s a chance to represent my roots on an international stage while celebrating the journey that has brought me here. I think having a multicultural perspective is a real advantage, both personally and professionally. It reminds you that the world is much bigger than the environment you grew up in, and that your ambitions don’t need to have geographical boundaries.
Balance
Motherhood has become an important part of your journey alongside your professional ambitions. How have you navigated balancing family life with entrepreneurship and your own creative aspirations?
Motherhood has undoubtedly changed my life, but it hasn’t changed my desire to achieve things for myself. I think there’s sometimes an expectation that once a woman becomes a mother, her own ambitions should naturally take second place. I don’t believe it has to be that way.
Of course, balancing family life, entrepreneurship and creative projects requires organisation, flexibility and sometimes a lot of improvisation. Not every day is perfectly balanced, and I’ve learned to be comfortable with that. But becoming a mother has also given me a different kind of motivation. I want my children to grow up understanding the importance of independence, education, hard work and following their dreams. I believe being a devoted mother and an ambitious woman are not contradictory. They’re simply different parts of the same person. Perhaps one of the most important things motherhood has taught me is that you don’t lose your identity when you become a parent. You discover new dimensions of it.
The Next Chapter
You clearly enjoy exploring different opportunities rather than being defined by one career or identity. What does the next chapter look like for you, and are there any creative or business ambitions you’d particularly love to pursue?
I’ve never been particularly interested in following a predictable path. Some of the most rewarding experiences in my life have come from stepping outside my comfort zone. Right now, one of the opportunities I’m most excited about is representing Bulgaria at Miss Europe Continental 2027. It’s a completely new challenge, and I’m excited to embrace it.
I’d also love to explore more opportunities in high-fashion modelling, editorial photography and creative brand campaigns. I’m particularly interested in projects where I can contribute to the artistic direction rather than simply being the face of a campaign. At the same time, I want to continue developing my business and expanding my knowledge in different fields.
I think one of life’s greatest privileges is the freedom to reinvent yourself. Just because you’ve studied one subject or built a career in one industry doesn’t mean you can’t succeed in something entirely different. I don’t believe ambition should have an age limit, and I certainly don’t believe women should have to choose just one version of themselves.
