The social media landscape has changed, that’s true, but do we really need to interact with every single platform?

Services - keep moving
Services – keep moving

Although every platform promotes sharing, every site has its individual following, and it can be challenging to find one that ticks all the boxes.

As a networker, building an audience on any platform can add significant value to your business model and impact your business in some way.

Services – keep moving

LIKES

Horrible concept to think that we have all been somehow reduced to likes as an online currency. Having worked with influencers, I can tell you first-hand that this currency doesn’t have an exchange rate. It brings exposure, and to many, that means everything, especially if you can raise awareness.

SERVICE STANDARDS

The Networking magazine is registered with the UK press authority, which means that on some level, the words that I pen to paper, so to speak, meet a certain standard.

SERVICES

We write editorials/ press releases on individuals and businesses that map a professional or personal journey. The art of writing has changed; today, writers must ensure that content meets search engine criteria (SEO).

press-for-hire scenario formed the basis of our business model. The text takes two formats, the first on our website and the other on a flip magazine. Yes, it’s double the work, but we realised early on that social media platforms like LinkedIn were more responsive to text than Instagram, which capitalised on making things look attractive to the eye.

For that reason, we ensure that we produce video captures, QR codes, and static adverts to support the text and get the desired exposure. This service is all included within the price.

PODCAST SERVICE

As a writer, I have to admit that there are two types of people, those that like to watch the movie and those that want to read the book. This age-old debate gave rise to the concept of Podcasts. A marked change in lifestyles that many blame the Pandemic for, means that we are all in some way exploring how business translates over to listening rather than reading through text.

Our Podcast show, Jibba Jabba, provides a vocal offering that resonates with people on the move. Finding an experienced interviewer who uses professional equipment to deliver studio-quality podcasts can be challenging. Hence, this, for us, was a no-brainer, and we offer it as a service.

CONTACT

If you would like to know more about our services, the best way to contact us is via our contact form on Linktree.

REVIEWS

There is only one credible way to generate business, and that’s reviews. We have a five-star rating on Google, which serves as a non-negotiable standard to maintain.

VANITY

We all like to scream and shout about featuring in the media. We offer a print-on-demand service for a physical experience. The print version has a disadvantage because links cannot function on images and text. Nonetheless, it provides unique and eye-catching sharing content.

Branding

Behind every brand, there is a person. These unsung heroes often create ideas and concepts and turn them into credible stories. I managed to catch up with one such design hero and got an insight into what it’s truly like to be a designer, this is her story.

I think you have to be born creative, you just can’t become it. Lisa Webb definitely was, today you will find her in Westminster working with business leaders across diverse industries. Some of the High Street retailers that we use on a daily basis whether online or physical have had some connection to her business. With a mouth-watering portfolio to include law firms, hairdressers, property developers and magicians.

Story Telling

That phrase has done its rounds within the Design Sector but it’s so true says Lisa who believes that professional branding has a bearing on business growth.

In high demand, most if not all of her work is done remotely which I think has become the new norm with COVID -19 fuelling the need to stay at a safe distance.

How do you get inspired?

Clients have a story to tell and they live for that story. Telling that story in a certain way makes all the difference to a business model.

A huge smile filled the screen and it was that smile that helped to tell her story. Lisa prides herself on human interaction, she has a true need to listen to a client’s wish list and produce different ways of telling the same message, providing choice.

One thing that struck me was her confidence, it gave me the impression that she was so used to doing business on conference call software.

How do you find clients?

I have always lived by the code; “ you are only as good as your last design”. I create to give clients a reason to refer me or return. There is a good argument to suggest that this combined with delivering a service that suits different budgets and timescales will always make good business sense.

“It’s not what I do, it’s how I do it that defines me”

-Lisa Webb
What’s your core market?

Honestly I enjoy working in a diverse market so there is no one size fits all approach, I will work with any sector. Over the last few years I have specialised in women start ups and that’s not to discriminate against men in anyway, it’s just something that happened.

How has your market changed?

My market hasn’t changed, jut the way in which business is done. Everyone has made changes and my business model is no exception. I started my business just over twenty years ago and embracing technology has been the most notable change.

Startups Vs rebranding

So many companies need a fresh look and a fresh approach to stand out in a crowded market space, they need to connect with their audience and it’s my job to help them do that, whether its new designs for their marketing, POS or a re-branding exercise. That said, I work with just as many start ups where owners need help with their branding and I love it: it’s such a privilege to help someone launch a new project.

They say that a successful business starts with the right name. If that’s true, here’s one to remember.

Online companies appear to be taking the lead as they begin to move into uncharted territory previously dominated by a physical presence. Ambrosia quality food limited, a main supplier presented an opportunity for OMG to offer their products to the general public. It took both time and money to build and develop a relatively new business and establish brand loyalty.

Fortunately, the current situation with Covid-19 provided a much-needed boost as habits shifted towards internet purchases. OH My Greek is an online Greek supermarket offering the very best Greek products that Greece has to offer.

Customers are offered the opportunity to relive their own Greek shopping experience from the comfort of their own homes. One of the key contributing factors in their journey has been their focus on quality. This is a non-negotiable standard and one that they believe will offer longevity.
